Location Description:
Whether you come to Boston for its history, to visit one of over 50 local colleges and universities or for business, you are sure to have a marvelous time. One of the oldest cities in the United States, Boston is home to an impressive collection of financial and insurance giants, including Fidelity Investments, BankBoston, Liberty Mutual and John Hancock Mutual Life Insurance Company. Boston is also a major center for high-tech and biotechnology, thanks in large part to its proximity to so many world-class universities. Any trip to Boston should rightly include visits to the many historic sights around the city. One good way to cover many of these spots is to walk the Freedom Trail. This 2.5 mile red brick walking trail takes you past 16 historically significant sites. Take your time and discover Boston Common, the nations oldest park. Then move along to the Old South Meeting House, where you can almost hear the passionate speeches that led to the original Boston Tea Party. Boston is well known for its performing arts programs. For the past 125 years, the Boston Pops Orchestra has been entertaining residents and visitors alike with exciting, sometimes unconventional, symphonic performances. Those seeking a more traditional experience will gravitate to the Boston Symphony Orchestra. From comedy to drama, Shakespeare to Broadway, the Boston Theater District is a wonderful place for live theater. You can even combine dinner and a comedy play at Bostons Mystery Caf . Boston is a great sports city. Regardless of the season, there is plenty of major league action. Baseball fans will head for Fenway Park where the Red Sox have played since 1912. Footballs New England Patriots are a more recent addition to Boston, but still deliver heart-pounding excitement. Hockey and basketball fans wont be disappointed when they attend either a Celtics or Bruins game.

Please be patient while we process your request.
