| The Sundy House, the home of the first Mayor of Delray Beach, Florida was built in 1902. The Sundy House is now known as the "Best Kept Secret" in Delray Beach. Our boutique Inn consists of eleven guest rooms or suites, each with its own individual personality. Our property boasts hardwood floors, hand-painted walls, and suites with full kitchens, living rooms, dining rooms and washers/dryers, in addition to balconies or patios. Our most deluxe accommodation, the historic cottage features a fireplace, plasma screen TV, Jacuzzi tub, and Rainforest showerhead. All room rates include breakfast. Our award winning restaurant Del La Tierra serves dinner and our famous Sundy Brunch voted best brunch in Palm Beach County by the Sun-Sentinel and Boca Magazine. Guest rooms and the restaurant are quaintly nestled in the heart of the Taru Gardens, home to over 500 species of exotic plants, ferns, fruit trees and bamboo. | From the airport, exit Southern Boulevard (FL-700, W/FL-80), take I-95 South towards Miami. Travel south on I-95 for 14.77 miles, to the Atlantic Avenue exits. Take Atlantic Avenue east from I-95, you will be passing 5 traffic lights (0.85 miles). At the 5th traffic light, make a right onto South Swinton Avenue. We are 1 block down, on the right hand side.From the airport, take I-95 north. I-95 to Atlantic Avenue east, 5 traffic lights to South Swinton Avenue. Make a right onto South Swinton.
