| The Isleview Motel and Cottages is conveniently located less than one mile from Mount Desert Island half way between the towns of Ellsworth and Bar Harbor. We are also within easy reach of Acadia National Park and all it has to offer. We are family owned and operated and we do our very best to accommodate all of our customers needs at all times. We offer a variety of well maintained accommodations including simple motel rooms with one, two or three double beds along with unique cottages that sleep two to six comfortably. Room facilities include private bathrooms, individually controlled heat, ceiling fan, color cable TV, telephone and coffee machine. Some rooms also contain a refrigerator, microwave, and air conditioning. Our largest cottage has a full kitchen and livingroom along with a full bath and two bedrooms. We allow pets in our cottages only, for a small fee. New to 2007 all rooms have wireless internet. Reservations require one nights deposit or a valid credit card number to hold a room. To cancel your reservation without a charge we must hear from you 7 days before your arrival date. We are a small establishment and cannot accommodate last minute cancellations. |

| On Route 3 going towards Bar Harbor half a mile past the Hancock County Bar Harbor Airport on the right hand side of the road. We are blue and white. -- Directions -- From interstate 95 going towards Bangor, take Exit 182A to Route 395. Follow Route 395 taking Exit 6A to Route 1A, Ellsworth and Bar Harbor. Stay on this road and it will become Route 3 at Ellsworth. Follow Route 3 from Ellsworth for 7 miles. When you see the turn for Route 230 to your right, Route 3 will bare slightly to the left. We are the blue and white motel on the right before the Acadia Information Center. |
