Like no other place on Earth, the Everglades are a vast collections of varying ecosystems, which change throughout the season, in the southern tip of Florida. Visitors traverse the terrain, mostly estuaries and wetlands, by boat, kayak, or airboat. From Fort Lauderdale, you are about a two-hour drive from the town of Everglades and many of the regions sights and activities.
