Location Description:
The small town of Martigny is located on the Rhone elbow in the Lower Valais, at the junction of the three mountain pass roads across the Simplon, the Great St. Bernard and the Forclaz. The towns winning feature is its happy blend of historico-cultural heritage, Mediterranean flair and tasty gastronomy. The first week of every returning October, its time again for the Valais Autumn Fair, which used to be called “Comptoir de Martigny”.
