| We are located in the heart of downtown Monterey, only 2 blocks from Fisherman's Wharf, one block from the Convention Center and a short distance to the worl famous Montery Bay Aquarium on John Steinbeck's Historic Connery Row. Close to many shops, restaurants and outside activities. The 17-mile drive, Carmel, golf courses are just a few of nearby attractions easily accessible from the Monterey Hotel. The hotel has been part of the history of Monterey since 1904. In 1996 the Monterey Hotel was refurbished, restructured, and decorated to fit the style of the Victorian era. Amenities included with each room are continental breakfast, afternoon cookies and daily newspaper delivery. Our convenient location, meeting facilities, and friendly, knoweldgeable staff are just a few of the services we have for our special guests.
