| Naples International Airport (Capodichino) is approximately 65km. From the Hotel (50 min. drive). Fastest route: take the A3 Naples-Pompei-Salerno highway and exit at "Angri" Follow the signs for "Valico di Chiunzi" and "Costiera Amalfitana", reaching Ravello through the pass. Slower but more scenic route: take the A3 Naples-Pompei-Salerno highway and exit at "Vietri sul Mare". Follow the signs for "Costiera Amalfitana" and "Ravello", past Cetara, Maiori and Minori. (This road is very beautiful but can have heavy traffic, especially on week-ends and public holidays.)Roma International Airport (Fiumicino) is approximately 306 Km. From the hotel (3 hours drive). Take A12 toward Roma Sud, then A1-Naples highway, reaching Caserta Sud, take the A30 indicated as the Salerno-Reggio Calabria and exit at Nocera. Down in the centre of Ravello, there is plenty more cultural sight-seeing, and not be missed is the intricate 11th century cathedral. Since the early 1950s, Ravello has hosted the celebrated Wagnerian Music Festival in July in the grounds of the Villa Rufolo, to commemorate the composer's love for Ravello and the inspiration that he derived from the Villa Rufolo for the second act of Parsifal. Villa Rufolo is a magnificent medieval villa surrounded by extensive gardens, the exotic oriental plants and fountains frame an excellent view over the jagged peaks and the distant Maiori Bay.Naples International Airport (Capodichino) -NAP- is approximately 65km.
