- Golden Gate Park Golden Gate Park is among the world's greatest urban parks. - Six Flags This one-of-a-kind amusement center wildlife park and oceanarium shows animals of land, sea and air in a variety of performances and habitats. The residents include: dolphins, sea lions, whales, elephants, chimpanzees, tigers and predatory exotic birds. "Dinasours! A Prehistoric Adventure" features 22 moving creatures (through October 31), and has the largest number of robotic dinosaurs in the United States. - Napa Valley This rich and fertile stretch of valley, a little over 35 miles in length, is home to over 150 wineries most of which line Highway 29.
- Many of the large wineries such as the Robert Mondavi Winery in Oakdale and Inglenook Napa Valley in Rutherford offer guided tours of their facilities including the underground limestone caves and storage casks. And yes, you can taste. Some wineries charge for tasting and others do not. Most visitors will find wine tasting is both enjoyable and educational. The quaint towns of Yountville and St. Helena are known for both their wineries and their restaurants.
