| From I-95 Northbound (Baltimore and Washington): exit 8 North off I-95. Travel north on US Route 202 (Concord Pike) for approximately 4 miles. Hotel is located on the right. From I-95 Southbound (Philadelphia and Philadelphia Int*l Airport): TI-95 South to I-495 South. Stay in right lane- and take exit 6 (Route 92 West- Naamans Rd). Proceed 5 miles to US Route 202- make a left onto 202 South. The hotel is located 1/2 mile on the left. To access the hotel entrance- take a U-turn at the first traffic light past the hotel. From New York or New Jersey: New Jersey Turnpike South to Exit 1- (the Delaware Memorial Bridge). Follow I-295 South to I-95 North to Exit 8 North- (US Route 202- Concord Pike). Travel North on US Route 202 for approximately 4 miles. Hotel is located on the right. From the Pennsylvania Turnpike: Take Exit 312 (Downingtown). Route 100 South to US Route 202 South. Continue on Route 202 into the State of Delaware. The hotel is on the left. To access the hotel entrance- take a U-turn at the first traffic light past the hotel. Transportation: A memo to our guests regarding our complimentary shuttle service...The service is available to all guests of the hotel from 7AM-10PM based on availability. Sometimes during particularly busy times the hotel will establish a shuttle schedule. Shuttle schedules will be posted at the front desk. During the hours of 7AM-10AM the shuttle can not be scheduled or reserved on a customized basis to take your group to a particular location. Our shuttle will take you from the Hotel to a particular location. When you are ready to return to the Hotel please call and the next available shuttle will be sent to pick you up. You will be given an approximate time of arrival. Service to intermediate points will not be provided. Our Shuttle services a five mile radius of the Hotel. This area includes most of the local museums and attractions- downtown Wilmington- the Wilmington Amtrak Station- local country clubs and catering facilities. Doubletree Hotel Wilmington offers complimentary round trip transportation within a 5 mile radius of the hotel- to all our groups who pick up 15 or more rooms on one night. The bus can accommodate up to 22 guests at a time. The transportation service runs from 10am to 9:55pm. If the shuttle is reserved after 10 pm- there is a late evening fee of 200.00. If your group does not pick up 15 rooms- there will be a charge of 150.00 for drop off and 150.00 for pick up (200.00 if after 10pm). The Doubletree reserves a total of four time slots- separated by at least 45 minutes for your group. Two time slots are reserved to drop off guests at the destination- and two time slots are for pick-up and return to the hotel. We must know approximately how many guests will need transportation. Final pick-ups will be at 1AM. Guests will be responsible for own transportation after 1AM. Please contact us at (302) 478-6000 if you need assistance getting a different transportation after hours. For group or individual transportation requirements that do not fall within these guidelines we recommend that you contact Delaware Express Shuttle at 800 648-5466 or Eagle Transportation at 800-669-5460.
